ANSWER:
Yes. But in addition you need a programming adapter (MLFB 6ES5 985 - 2MC11). You slot this adapter in the standard S5 EPROM slot for programming the Flash Memory cards.
You cannot use the programming adapter together with the serial external prommer.
Note
If you want to program 5V Only Modules, you need at least STEP5 version V6.6. Refer to FAQ Entry ID 43567 for a description of how to check whether you have a 5V Only Module.
